About the Home The delightful Bupa Runaway Bay is a modern care home surrounded by beautiful nature reserves and parklands, close to the Gold Coast beaches and just an hour from Brisbane's CBD. It consists of 108 beds, a with various care units such as dementia, respite, and palliative. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.
About The Role As a Maintenance Officer you will provide quality and timely maintenance service across the Care Home, ensuring facilities are maintained to an exceptional standard that aligns with regulatory requirements and resident preferences. You will be responsible for the delivery of a high standard of property services, including repairs and maintenance, to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for our residents.

A 'People First' wellness program – SMILE Duties Provide repairs and maintenance support to the care home across a wide scope of activities including: Identify and carry out preventative maintenance, repair and improvement works to the building, grounds and equipment in-line with the Maintenance Schedules Partake and lead continuous improvement or corrective activities associated with the care home facilities Assist in the development of repair and maintenance budget, monitor the actual utilisation of budget and escalates if there is any over expenditure.
