We are currently looking for a resourceful Maintenance Officer who will be working closely with the maintenance team to provide general repairs, maintenance, and assist the Facility Manager at a global food manufacturing facility in Blayney, working Full Time (38 hours per week). The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, with flexible start and end times (e.g., 9 am to 5 pm or 7 am to 3 pm). This is a great opportunity to take your previous experience to the next level.
Here is a snapshot of what you will do: Ensure the completion of all general maintenance and relevant repairs to the facility (minor plumbing, carpentry work)Carry out site inspections to identify, report, and actionLiase with contractors required onsite as required (electricians, etc.)Assist and complete inventory and stocktake.Undertake audits and monitor and track contractor hoursStep up to cover for the Facility Manager when they are on leaveWhat will you possess to be successful: Experience in a similar handyman/general operative role is essentialComfortable with the use of Facility Management software for submission of audits and stocktakingWilling to complete a pre-employment medical and be vaccinated for Q fever (at own expense)Pass an Australian National Police CheckCan-do attitude and a drive to ensure service delivery is achieved where requiredSo, what is in it for you?
