Established in 1897, Sacred Heart College is a co-educational Catholic college in the Marist tradition, nurturing both day and boarding students' holistic needs from Years 7 to 12, across two campuses.
The Mitchell Park Campus (Champagnat) has an opportunity for a Maintenance Officer to join our Maintenance Team. The team is responsible for the ongoing maintenance and care of our beautiful grounds, buildings, facilities and equipment, ensuring they are kept to the highest standard.
Maintenance Officer Champagnat Campus (Years 7 to 9), Mitchell ParkESO – Grade 3Permanent37.5 hours per week, 48 weeks per yearThe Maintenance Officer works in close collaboration with the Maintenance Manager, and Maintenance Assistant, ensuring that the buildings, areas, vehicles, equipment, and facilities of Champagnat Campus are maintained to the highest quality, and ensuring health and safety provisions are met. You will have a drivers licence and are able to drive a manual vehicle.
The successful applicant will be an experienced handyman and be able to meet the physical requirements of the role, additionally having experience meeting and working within strict work, health and safety (WHS) obligations.
The successful applicant must complete our child-safe screening processes, including holding a Working with Children Clearance, and will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical.
