You will also coordinate and schedule the day-to-day maintenance of the facility.
In this role you will:
Undertake general maintenance work including repairs, installations and cleaning in accordance with the preventative maintenance schedule;Maintain the grounds including mowing, fertilising, pruning and garden refuse removal;Assist contractors around the campus and supervise other Maintenance Workers and Volunteers, as directed;Complete all relevant record keeping and administration utilising the organisation's asset management system.About You This role is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to complete general maintenance and gardening duties and enjoys resolving issues as they arise. To confidently work without a supervisor and who can work collaboratively as a team member.
A dedicated and experienced Maintenance Officer, a driven self-starter, with excellent communication and time management skills and a compassionate nature that enjoys talking and spending time with our elderly residents and can build a rapport with others easily.
As the Maintenance Officer, ideally your experience and qualifications include:
