For 10+ years, Wood has held a Maintenance contract at Lytton and has been heavily embedded into the Ampol culture, with a strong focus on team alignment across the contracting teams.As a Maintenance Mechanical Fitter - Leading Hand you will:Perform mechanical fitter duties and supervise mechanical team in a manner that protects safety, health, and the environment whilst conforming to quality and time requirements.Always ensure good housekeeping habits and maintain a safe worksite for yourself and fellow workers.Be a fully qualified/indentured mechanical tradesperson in one of the following disciplines: Fitter, Fitter and Turner, Motor Mechanic, diesel mechanic.Demonstrate a minimum of one year oil and gas industry experience.Work independently as well as lead a team of qualified and experienced Mechanical trades.In addition to the qualifications of level 6, demonstrate the ability and proficiency in Hydrostatic/pneumatic testing of pipe work and equipment, and reinstate as per P&IDs.Demonstrate the ability to perform pump alignment and proficient use of equipment including laser alignment and dial indicators.Be computer literate with intermediate level experience with MS Office.Have successfully completed a supervisory training course.Exhibit excellent people skills.Show flexibility to handle variable timeframes with exceptional time management skills.Maintain sober habits and a high level of emotional intelligence.
