For 10+ years, Wood has held a Maintenance contract at Lytton, and have been heavily imbedded into the Ampol culture with a strong focus on team alignment across the contracting teams. As a Maintenance Mechanical Fitter - Leading Hand you will:
Perform mechanical fitter duties and supervise mechanical team in a manner that protects safety, health, and the environment, whilst conforming to quality and time requirements. Always ensure good housekeeping habits and to maintain a safe worksite for yourself and fellow workers. Fully qualified / indentured mechanical tradesperson in one of the following disciplines - Fitter, Fitter and Turner, Motor Mechanic, diesel mechanic Demonstrate a minimum of one year oil and gas industry experience Can work independently as well as lead a team of qualified and experienced Mechanical trades In addition to the qualifications of level 6, demonstrate the ability and proficiency in Hydrostatic/pneumatic testing of pipe work and equipment and reinstate as per P&ID's Demonstrate the ability to perform pump alignment and proficient use of such equipment including laser alignment and dial indicators Computer literate, intermediate level of experience with MS Office Has successfully completed a supervisory training course Excellent people skills Flexibility to handle variable timeframes with exceptional time management skills Sober habits and high level of emotional intelligence At Wood you will join an inclusive and diverse global community of inquisitive minds and recognised industry innovators, partnering to create new possibilities where you have great benefits:
