Maintenance Manager

$140,000 – $150,000 per year + Company VehicleManage our Henderson workshop and yard operations. You will be responsible for maintaining the Company's fleet of vessels, vehicles, plant and equipment by ensuring that maintenance works are programmed and executed to the highest standard, while controlling costs and minimising downtime.The Maintenance Coordinator, Procurement & Logistics Coordinator and Assets Specialist will directly report to you.Responsibilities:Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximise equipment reliability.Manage assets and ensure review programs are instigated to determine repair and/or replacement programs.Conduct regular inspections of plant and facilities to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.Develop employees' skills and expertise by utilising training and development strategies that include mentoring, coaching, demonstrating, and modelling sound and effective behaviours and values.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure that work performed by the Workshop, Maintenance and Stores functions is of the highest standard.Provide operational support to project managers, engineers, supervisors and crew for the company's dredging and construction projects.Cultivate a strong HSEQ culture within the business, making safety the first priority.Essential Skills/Qualifications/Attributes:8+ years' experience in a workshop/maintenance leadership position.Heavy industry experience is essential, marine industry knowledge is advantageous.Decisive leadership skills with the ability to build effective and engaged teams.Knowledge of maintenance principles, techniques and tools to bring about a proactive and preventative maintenance culture.Plant/vehicle licenses and HRWL tickets (e.g., Forklift, truck) are desirable.Recruitment Process:As part of the recruitment process, you will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen, national police check and reference check.Maritime Constructions recognises that diversity and inclusion are vital for enhancing workplace productivity and fostering innovative thinking.
