Responsibilities Include: The Maintenance Manager is accountable for the organization's desire to improve. Lead the Maintenance team. Collaborate with other resources and work processes. Deliver results: Safety, Reliability and Maintenance cost optimization. Responsible for developing and leading the facility maintenance strategy. Accountable for implementing Equipment Maintenance Strategies. Accountable for the overall application of the Maintain Facility Work Process and overall alignment to the business' needs. Responsible for carrying out cost management elements. Functions as the administrative leader of all maintenance resources within an organization and assures proper staffing levels. Ensure full integration of work processes that have reliability and maintenance involvement. Accountable for resourcing reliability and maintenance reps for small capital projects and maintenance improvement projects. Plans and allocates maintenance resources. Creates Equipment Reliability Strategies based upon Top Opportunity List, Critical Equipment List, and identified plant/business needs. Lead project meetings and ensure an open flow of communication and information across the plant. Identify improvements in equipment, processes, or inspection technologies necessary to assure satisfactory process capability and achieve cost improvements. Implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) including the provision of training and making required changes involving the Line machines. Assure project plans and documentation is complete to standard and advise on appropriate action if needed. Maintain a good understanding of all facilities including which Lines, Processes and Utilities are critical to the business and where failure can have an unacceptable impact on Safety, Environment or Compliance. Participate in local Audits concerning Safety, Health, Environment, Product Safety and Product Quality. Ensure Action Plans are in place and being implemented as per the plan. Monitor the standards of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) ensuring the Plant is tidy and clean including monitoring Sanitation/Cleaning-In-Place activities and micro tests. Adherence to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) Standards. Promote safety through work procedures, and employee safety programs. Responsible for compliance to site Maintenance budgets. Responsible for managing staff and maintaining Refresco protocol for disciplinary action when necessary. Responsible to provide support for national engineering projects. Responsible to provide support for national production requirements. Provide annual leave cover for other staff as directed. The successful applicant will possess the following skills: Minimum of 7 years' experience in a production / engineering role. Effective communication and influencing skills from senior management to employee level. Ability to work at a strategic level whilst also taking hands on approach. Strong leadership skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook and Word, Excel, etc., as well as strong analytical & organization skills.
