Sydney Central Hotel managed by The Ascott Limited, now seeks an enthusiastic, experienced, and dedicated person to join the Maintenance team as Maintenance Manager.
This full-time role will report to the General Manager and work closely with other departments.
Join us for the exciting 2025 hotel renovation, where you'll play a pivotal role in transforming our property and shaping the future of guest experience.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following: Plan and oversee the property's inspection, maintenance, repair, and installation operation and effectively manage the property's assets to protect the company's long-term investment.
Work closely with General Manager and Engineering Manager to manage a detailed preventative maintenance program for the property.
Be a key player in the exciting 2025 hotel renovation, contributing your expertise and coordinating the project to ensure it runs smoothly and meets our quality objectives.
Lead, manage, and coordinate a team of maintenance officers, ensuring all daily tasks are completed and facilities are maintained to the highest standard.
Attend to emergency breakdowns after hours as and when required.
Maintain effective working relationships with maintenance contractors and suppliers.
Ensure budgetary controls and manage day-to-day maintenance to budget.
Professionally represent the company internally and at all industry-related functions if/when required.
Ideally, you must have the following: Experience in a similar role/capacity.
i.e., hotels, accommodation.
Technical and manual skills to ensure maintenance standards are operating to their highest level.
Ability to prioritise multiple task requests and work autonomously.
High attention to detail, exceptional time management, and multitasking ability.
Strong communication skills.
