Maintenance ManagerDivision: Boral Constr Mat Limited
Department: QUARRIES WA
Work type: Permanent - full time
Location: Perth

Reporting to the Quarry Manager you will have responsibility for the planning and execution of maintenance of fixed and mobile assets across the Orange Grove site. The role is responsible for optimising the performance of plant and equipment while ensuring compliance to safety standards and adherence to Boral's OH&S, Environmental and Quality Standards and in line with budget/cost expectations.
What your day will look like: Plan and schedule maintenanceEnsure the implementation of planned and preventative maintenance activitiesConduct reviews of current practices and implement improvementsMaximise equipment availability and utilisation and minimise production downtimeLiaise with the Quarry Manager to ensure site activities comply with statutory standards regulatory standards and contractual arrangementsSupervise a crew of maintenance staffEnsure the use of work permits and the development of SWMS by operators and maintenance employees and contractors for non-routine tasks, across all shiftsDocument maintenance records, processes and procedures for all plant and equipmentReview of the quality of work conducted by all site maintenance personnelWhat we are looking for: Experience in maintenance supervision/planningRelevant trade qualifications in an engineering or maintenance related discipline (Highly desirable)Knowledge and understanding of maintenance equipmentStrong people skills and communication skillsStrong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlinesWhat's on offer: Competitive Salary plus TOT vehicleOrganisation dedicated to health, safety and the environmentOngoing mentoring and guidance from outstanding industry leaders and colleaguesGenuine career growth opportunities within Boral AustraliaAccess to a variety of support networks including Boral Employee Assistance ProgramAbout Boral Quarries Boral is Australia's leading quarry operator, with 76 quarries, sand pits and gravel operations, supplying about 30 million tonnes of product annually.
