Maintenance Manager - $160k - $170k – IngleburnFuse Recruitment is sourcing for a Maintenance Manager for a large International client based in Ingleburn to lead their dynamic and progressive maintenance team in the Food Manufacturing Industry.THE CLIENT:Our client operates 24/7 and is one of Australia's largest Food Manufacturers located in Ingleburn, supplying some of Australia's most iconic brands and is recognized as a leading-edge provider of quality products in their industry.WHAT'S ON OFFER: Salary range of $160k - $170k + SuperWorking with state-of-the-art equipment and production machinery.Opportunity to work and further advance your knowledge in Automation and leading-edge technology in the industry.Long-term opportunity with career progression.THE OPPORTUNITY:The role of the Maintenance Manager is to plan and implement an effective and efficient maintenance program to ensure fast cost-effective support to the production function.The Maintenance Manager will report directly to the Head of Engineering and work closely with Maintenance Electricians, Fitters, Operators, and Process Engineers to ensure that Equipment and Production machinery reliability is dealt with efficiently and timely.As a strong Leader, the Maintenance Manager will be willing to work and collaborate to assist operationally outside the areas of core responsibility and contribute to building a high-performing team culture.You will oversee a 24/7 operating facility running 22 lines and producing over 600 Tonnes of product weekly.THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversee and plan maintenance activities with efficient and effective allocation of resources to ensure adequate maintenance coverage across shifts.Monitor the performance of all processing equipment and manage repair, overhaul, and servicing of equipment.Provide data and insights to support the development of the preventative maintenance program for all processing machinery, plant, services, and structures.Lead the maintenance team with a focus on a practicable and operational outcome.Identify, plan, and implement changes to existing processes, installations, and maintenance methods to improve safety, product quality, and cost reductions.Develop or obtain all Technical Services manuals for all equipment on site.Ensure that while carrying out maintenance functions, full compliance is given to regulations, codes of practice, and legislation.Maintain an effective working relationship with all other parts of the business.Support the implementation of WHS programs within the maintenance business unit.Provide a point of professional reference for maintenance – providing information and advice to team members and management.Carry out root cause analysis on all machinery.Liaise with the Operations Manager regarding all scheduled maintenance.Action and improve key performance indicators for the site relating to maintenance of machinery and equipment.Ensure that invoices are processed in a timely manner.Source appropriate contractors and quoting for work required to be outsourced.Pursue continuous improvement opportunities to improve service and/or reduce costs.Maintain a safe, clean, and safety-aware workplace that always complies with Workplace Health & Safety Statutory and Company policies.Provide constructive feedback to team members.Be consistent in the way you manage team members on a day-to-day basis.Ensure that regular team meetings are carried out with the maintenance team.Ensure effective handover at the end of the shift.Ensure that appropriate training programs are undertaken to maintain the skill base of employees in the maintenance team.THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:Previous experience as a Maintenance Manager (5+ years) within the food manufacturing industry.High degree of numeracy literacy and accuracy.Intermediate MS Office skills.In-depth understanding of maintenance processes.Sound understanding of quality, WHS, and competency-based learning.Experience using electronic maintenance systems.Project management experience.Experience running a 20+ line facility desirable.Proven Team Leadership preferably across a 24/7 manufacturing operation.If this position sounds like you then hit APPLY now, alternatively email Michael Hadley on with your resume.#J-18808-Ljbffr
