About the role
This newly created permanent position will be based at our site in Emerald and report to the Maintenance Supervisor. This role will see you manage the effective and efficient deployment of maintenance resources to the CQ country Maintenance team. Other responsibilities include;
Manage, Co-ordinate and lead contractor managementLead and coach the maintenance team to ensure safety, operational effectivenessPromote values and continuous improvement, manage risk, and ensure timely work executionRelief of Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Planners during leave as required.Ensure high-level and consistent SAP Quality and feedback to plannersManage and approve Maintenance NotificationsProvide technical support in breakdowns. Be available and contactable (on call)Coordinate work fronts with contractors when plant is availableConfirm all works have been completed and to acceptable qualityConfirming invoices before goods receipting purchase ordersHelp Fault find Mech/Elec/PLC issues on site to advise contractorsConfirming daily work sheets have been issued and completedReview daily worksheets SAP dailyTracking invoices to confirm the correct WO and PO has been usedMaintain and monitor the SAP system supporting maintenanceAbout your experience
Our successful candidate will come to us with previous experience in a similar role and industry. Key attributes we are looking for are;
Trade Certificate in a relevant disciplines electrical or fitter machinist.Commitment to safetyExperience with SAP maintenance moduleMS Excel skills and experienceExperience in Contractor ManagementQuality assurance/checks of works completed by contractorsExperience within a technical or centralised functionHigh level customer service focusStrong leadership skills and qualitiesBe self-motivated & driven to succeedAbility to work under pressure and be resilientHighly developed communication and interpersonal skillsStrong focus on continuous improvement and collaborationReady to apply? / How do you apply?
