Maintenance/Handyperson

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance/Handyman to join a great team based in the Northern Suburbs area. Our client services Housing trust homes for the Northern suburbs (Gawler - Pooraka) and is looking for a reliable safety minded individual to join their team.About your new roleAs a Maintenance/Handyperson you will be expected to work autonomously and drive to people's homes to perform maintenance fixes to various components of a house. You must have a strong safety focus, be able to think outside the box as you are dealing with retrofits (not new homes) and take pride in your work.About You:Be physically Fit - Able to lift 30kg frequentlyReliableCurrent Drivers licence (P's minimum)A reliable Ute, Van or Wagon to transport materialsMust be able to drive a manual, you will be provided with a vehicle after the probation periodYour own basic toolsA white card (or willingness to obtain one)Experience in the following areas:Kitchen installations (cabinet and joinery work - not flat packs)FlushingGyprockHanging doorsTiling (basic)2nd fix carpentry and handyman skills (Does not have to be trade qualified)Must be willing to undertake:A pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screeningWorking With Children Check (WWCC)Police ClearanceThis position offers you:Tool and Fuel allowanceHours: 8 - 4 Mon - Fri (Flexible working hours)Pay rate negotiated depending on experienceDoes this sound like you?#J-18808-Ljbffr
