The Opportunity
Located in Ormiston, Cleveland Gardens Retirement Living is a large retirement living community, home to 200+ independent living units filled with gardens, croquet lawns, bowling green, a workshop, and much more!
As a Gardener, you will enjoy working closely with staff and residents to ensure all grounds, gardens and common areas are well-maintained, presentable and safe for all to enjoy.

We have two permanent full-time opportunities available - Monday-Friday 7-3pm.
What we offer: $28.15/hr + superannuation + relevant entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances Up to 12 weeks Parental Leave and ability to purchase additional Annual Leave Employee Referral Program and Employee Discounts Be part of a friendly and supportive team Join a leading retirement communities operator You will Be responsible for the gardens & grounds, including but not limited to: mowing, pruning, hedging, weeding and leaf blowing Attend to various maintenance requests to create a safe and pleasant environment for residents, visitors, staff and others Liaise with stakeholders to ensure projects undertaken are safe, timely and completed to a high standard Carry out preventative garden and maintenance tasks around the community as per schedules Be a friendly face to the residents and work alongside a fantastic team! What you'll bring Experience in General 'Handyperson' Maintenance, Gardening or Landscaping roles (highly desired) Current Police Check certificate (required, but if you do not possess, we can complete for you) Valid driver's licence and two (2) COVID-19 doses (required) Who we are
