About the Role As a Global Leader in material handling automation, Daifuku continues to experience rapid growth. The current opportunity is for an experienced Mechanical Technician to be part of our team responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance on the Material Handling System (MHS).
Your Responsibilities will include Ensure that materials handling system and other onsite infrastructure is operational, and issues are rectified safely, quickly and efficiently.Performing diagnostic tests on the material handling systems.Following the mechanical maintenance plans to prevent equipment breakdowns.Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as perform the necessary repairs to restore to full functionality.Support the clearance of fault and materials jams.Schedule maintenance tasks.About you Your qualifications and experience will include:
Prior experience working through preventative maintenance schedules.Knowledge of fault diagnostic systems, processes and repairs.Experience in mechanical drives, including gearboxes and conveyor belting.Experience in pneumatics and hydraulics including solenoid valves, cylinders and flow regulators.Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand mechanical assembly drawings.About Us You'll be joining a business with over 13,000 team members worldwide, delivering material handling automation solutions to our customers.
