About the role: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team at Sandy Point Quarry.
This role involves performing maintenance work on both fixed and mobile plants, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and the ability to work on-field.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on fixed and mobile plant equipment.
Perform on-field servicing to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Ensure that plant operations run smoothly and aim to minimise plant downtime.
Qualifications: Trade qualification in Fitting or a related discipline.
Proven experience in maintenance within a quarry or similar industrial environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management.
