We have an exciting opportunity for a Day Shift Maintenance Fitter to join our team at Wetherill Park .
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager , you will be responsible for repair, testing and preventive maintenance and testing of machines with a strong emphasis on all safety and quality standards of Ausreo within a manufacturing environment.
The role will also include but will not be limited to the following responsibilities : Responsibilities: Maintain site machinery to ensure safety of personnel, site and equipment Carry out repair, testing & preventive maintenance and testing of machines and equipment including: Hydraulics, pneumatics, valves Gearboxes and bearings Rollers, conveyors, pulleys etc.
Fault-finding and repairing malfunctions of mechanical equipment and plant To Be Successful Trade Qualifications in Mechanical Fitting Experience preferred in Reinforcing Steel or similar industry such as manufacturing (training provided) Strong Work Ethic and Reliable Safety conscience Available to work 6am-2:30pm Good communication skills and the ability to work successfully individually and as part of a team We are seeking a team player who can handle pressure and maintain quality and productivity.
You will also be conscientious, fastidious and self-motivated.
