We currently employ a workforce of .The role you'll play:The role of the Mechanical Fitter is essential for sustaining minimal interruptions in plant operations.
They oversee all manufacturing areas, promptly identifying and addressing any issues, and liaising with production and support teams as required.
Their key duty is to maintain plant machinery effectively, ensuring optimal uptime.
This position requires a solid understanding of both reactive and preventative maintenance methodologies to manage and resolve potential disruptions to production.This is a standard dayshift role, Monday to Friday with regular overtime available.
Uniforms are provided on this site.Monday & Friday: 6am - 2.30pmTuesday - Thurs: 6am - 4.30pm9 day fortnight (Monday or Friday RDO)Key focuses & responsibilities will include:Safety Culture: Pro-actively demonstrate a personal commitment to safety and our PROTECT safety culture.Prioritisation of Tasks: Assessing the urgency and impact of equipment failures to prioritise repair tasks effectively, ensuring critical areas are addressed first.Troubleshooting and Diagnosis: Skilfully diagnosing the root causes of equipment failures to implement effective repair solutions promptly.Repairs and Maintenance: Conducting repairs on machinery and equipment to restore functionality, including pneumatic, hydraulic, pumps and conveyers.
