Position Overview: We're seeking a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join our team at Brickworks SA in Golden Grove. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for management of site changes and preventative maintenance relating to PLC network, SCADA and process control communications systems. Afternoon Shift Pattern: Mon - Thu 14:15pm to 22:45pm and Fri 12:00pm to 18:00pm
Duties include but are not limited to: Assist and contribute to Operational Excellence initiatives. Develop and maintain Standardised Work Method Statements. Ensure safe working conditions and compliance to all WHS policies and procedures. Scope requirements for change management requests, identify solutions and action. Scope Electrical Project requirements as requested, install, test and commission. Ensure plant assets are fully maintained to promote efficient operation of equipment. Plan required maintenance tasks so that any associated downtime is at a minimum. Conduct proactive breakdown analysis and identify problem areas of the plant and review and detail solution proposals. Train and educate maintenance personnel in the areas of PLC Network, SCADA and Process Control Communications Systems. Success Requirements: Electrical Trade Certificate. Demonstrated experience in a similar role. Proven knowledge of using MEX CMMS System and IT Networking/Control Systems. Adequate skill in Technical Trade aptitude and problem solving. Strong attention to detail. Strong ability to find technical faults. Sound ability to read and understand schematic drawings, plans and specifications.
