What does a typical day look like? As a Maintenance Electrician, you're responsible for preventative maintenance and service breakdowns, ensuring plant equipment is functional.
In a nutshell, your main responsibilities are: Respond to equipment and services breakdowns.Ensure all services and equipment are in working condition at the start of each day.Record maintenance and breakdown times.Ensure equipment and services availability for production.Provide maintenance support to the entire siteComplies with company and legislative requirements with respect to OHS, workers compensation and rehabilitation.Assists management to comply with OH&S duty of care.Supervises work activities to ensure safe working practices are adopted.Assists in HIRAC hazard identification, risk and control.Complies with company and legislative requirements with respect to food safety and environmental systems.Authority and responsibility for aspects of the food safety and environmental systems as documented in the relevant section of the Quality Assurance Program.Share information and ideas, and actively encourage participation from others.Carry out preventative maintenance on all equipment and services.Complete work orders from MEX system.Ensure preventative maintenance is completed on schedule and work requests completed within a required time.What do you need to be successful in securing this role? Demonstrated success in a similar role.Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.Welding or fabrication experience (desired but not essential).Experience with PLC`s and programming.Proven track record in achieving KPIs.Demonstrated experience as a trades person within a food manufacturing facility.Detailed understanding of food production processes and equipment.Proven analytical and problem-solving skills is desirable.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work within strict time scales is desirable.Ability to communicate with operational staff is desirable.Proven track record in achieving KPIs is desirable.Ability to identify process improvements and provide feedback is desirable.
