Join our Commodities and Global Markets division as a Java Engineer where you will be part of our organisation directly impacting a range of technologies, including our Trading, Risk, Transaction and Data applications.

What role will you play?
As a Senior Java Engineer, you will be responsible for architecture, design, development, testing and operations.
You will analyse and understand the problems to deliver reliable software solutions, which will help drive our initiatives forward, including New Application Development, features, and migration activity.

What you offer • 6+ years of practical experience coding in Core Java
• Experience with modern Java functionality and experience with SOLID principles and functional programming
• 4+ years of practical experience with Spring and Spring Boot
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Ability to review, refactor and improve the design of existing code
• Experience in RDBMS and SQL
• Experience with SDLC tools (e.g.
Bamboo, Jenkins, JIRA, GIT, Confluence)
• Experience using and developing RESTful APIs
• Experience with cloud technologies in AWS, such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Exposure to front end technologies such as Angular or React
• Experience with messaging systems
• Proficiency on the Linux command line.
