Machine Operators (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Full timeThat's Amore Cheese is a leading producer of authentic Italian-style cheese, located in Thomastown, Melbourne. Our artisanal cheeses are crafted using traditional methods and high-quality Australian milk, resulting in delicious products that are loved by customers. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our production team as Machine Operators and Production team members in general and our packing area. In this role, you will play a vital part in the cheese-making process, ensuring the quality and consistency of our products while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.The role is Monday-Friday. As a member of our production team at That's Amore Cheese, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to cheese production and machine operation. This role involves operating machinery as well as participating in production tasks and cleaning duties in a fast-paced environment.Experience & Requirements – Machine Operators & Production Team MembersPrevious experience as a machine operator in a cheese manufacturing environmentA genuine interest in Italian cheese and traditional methods of productionAvailability 5 days per week is essentialTeam playersExperience in food industryExperience in machine operatingGreat work ethic and willingness to learnAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and physically fitAbility to work within a team and independentlyGreat interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to lift 20 kgCleaning and maintaining work areas, equipment and plantExperience & Requirements - Packing AreaExperience in pelletising and moving palletsRepetitive lifting of 12 kgLifting to 20 kgTasks & ResponsibilitiesCheese making, packing, cleaning and assisting with general production duties as needed; including lifting, stacking, and moving products and suppliesPerform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issuesOperating cheese making machinery and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures to ensure the efficient production of high-quality cheese productsCleaning and maintaining work areas, equipment and plantComplying with GMP and HACCP requirementsFollowing safety protocols and procedures to minimise risks of accidents or injuries in the workplaceBe part of a team that values craftsmanship and qualityEnjoy working with a product you're passionate aboutWork for a growing and successful companyWork-life balance - No night work!Opportunities for growth and career development
