We're seeking motivated Machine Operators to join our vibrant team in a busy packhouse environment, specifically with tomatoes and cucumbers. This is your opportunity to play a crucial role in ensuring top-quality produce reaches all customers across Australia.We are looking to fill Day Shift – 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday with occasional overtime. Consistent hours are available in an ongoing casual capacity. Afternoon shifts may be available over time for the right people.About the role:Efficiently run and maintain machinery for packing tomatoes and cucumbers.Ensure all produce meets high standards and is packed with care, including keeping an eye out for bruising or deficiencies with the product.Quickly address and resolve any issues with machinery to keep operations smooth.Work closely with co-workers to meet production targets and uphold safety standards.Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of machinery to ensure peak performance.Weigh and pack tomatoes and cucumbers using machinery and manual packing.What We're Looking For:Strong focus on maintaining quality and accuracy in all tasks.Previous experience in Quality control or Assurance within the produce industry or with food items.Capable of handling physical demands, including lifting and repetitive movements.Demonstrated English language and numeracy proficiency.Holding a current and valid driver's license and your own transport to reliably attend your shifts.Ability to follow guidelines and instructions.Good communication skills to contribute positively, report issues, and coordinate with the team.Demonstrated knowledge of operating safely in an agricultural environment and adhering to WHSE requirements.Additional Information:No accommodation is available/supplied for this role.
