They've got many years industry experience providing a quality product to their customers and committed to deliver a high quality product The Role: As a fulltime Machinist/Joiner you will work in a joinery factory and be able to read job sheets that have drawings with measurements and a design that they need to manufacture in the workshop, using the various machines.
You will provided with clear instructions you'll need for completing your role and have the ability to read job sheets and drawings.
You'll working on jobs through to completion whilst demonstrating best practice across all areas.
Your core duties & responsibilities will include the ability to use : PANEL SAW MACHINE.
CNC ROUTER MACHINE.
EDGEBANDER MACHINE.
What you will need to succeed: Semi trade qualified or have demonstrated experience with the machinary Identify different timber types, such as: MDF, Solid Timber, Chip Board, Ply, Veneer and the different types of Laminates.
Ability to read job sheets that have a drawing with measurements Make your own cutting list from the job sheets provided Able to take and follow instructions Proven attention to detail Takes pride in work Can meet deadlines Safety conscious Drivers licence with own transport About You: You're a detail orientated and have a drive to learn and ply your skills You'll be able to demonstrate: Previous experience with the machinery.
Sound knowledge of safety management, risk assessment.
Ability to work within the team.
