Machine Operator

Join our team as a skilled Machine Operator with a passion for precision and efficiency. We're seeking an experienced pro or motivated apprentice with a background in printing or packaging, ready to work afternoon shifts in Hornby, New Zealand.
We offer:

- $23.50 to $28.00/hour + Overtime 1.5/2 + allowances
- Fixed Afternoon Shift - 3:50 PM to 12:50 AM
- Overtime rates apply for additional hours
- Free onsite parking + paid refreshment breaks
- Uniform provided
You'll be responsible for setting up, running, cleaning, and maintaining machines precisely to ensure optimal performance. Experience with clamshell machines, crease and fold, or gluers is a plus.
Requirements include:
- Prior machine operation experience in printing or packaging
- Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain machinery effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control and accuracy
- Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and handle repetitive tasks
- Good communication skills for interacting with team members and supervisors
