Machine Operator - Electronic Sorter

Almondco Australia Ltd, one of Australia's largest almond processing and packing facilities, is excited to announce that we're expanding our Hanwood site!
This expansion includes a new electronic sorting machine and additional warehouse space enabling us to produce and dispatch finished product directly from Hanwood—a major milestone for Almondco.
As part of this growth, we're seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to run our new electronic sorter. You'll work closely with the Quality Inspector and Forklift Operator to produce high-quality, ready-to-eat almonds. Full training will be provided to ensure your success in this role.
This is a full-time and permanent position, commencing in January 2025.
As a Machine Operator, you will: Set up the electronic sorting machine to produce product according to work order requirements,Monitor the electronic sorter and throughputs and adjust machinery accordingly,Facilitate removal of full product bins and replacements bins,Liaise with the Quality Inspector and Forklift Operator to ensure smooth product transition,Maintain records to complete work orders and pack sheets at the end of production runs,Clean and maintain machinery accordingly.To be successful in this role, you will have: Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality,Experience in machine operation ideally in a food processing environment,Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team.If you're looking for a dynamic opportunity in a strong, thriving industry, now is a fantastic time to join the Almondco team!
