The Role: As a fulltime Machinist/Joiner you will work in a joinery factory and be able to read job sheets that have a drawing with measurements and a design that they need to manufacture in the workshop using the various machines.
You will provided with job sheets for the day, drawings and clear additional notes you'll need for completing your role.
You'll working on jobs through to completion whilst demonstrating best practice across all areas.
Your core duties & responsibilities will include the ability to use : PANEL SAW MACHINE.
CNC ROUTER MACHINE.
EDGEBANDER MACHINE.
What you will need to succeed: Semi trade qualified or have demonstrated experience Identify different timber types, such as: MDF, Solid Timber, Chip Board, Ply, Veneer and the different types of Laminates.
Ability to read job sheets that have a drawing with measurements preferred) make their own cutting list from the job sheets they are provided Able to take and follow instructions Proven attention to detail Takes pride in work Can meet deadlines Safety conscious Conduct, culture & values Drivers licence with own transport Enjoy working in teams About You: You're a detail orientated, enjoy your trade and have a natural lean towards working in a team.
