Schwartz Excavations are looking for a Self-motivated, energetic, hands-on person to join our team in the role ofBusiness Support Officer .

Directly reporting to the Business Manager of Schwarz Excavations, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the office, working with Business Manager, Office Manager, Operations Manager, project personnel, office staff and trade staff to ensure efficient and effective business management around Schwarz Excavations' processes.

About the Role:
Assist with accounts payable, receivable and payroll Liaise with clients, suppliers and contractors regarding invoices, payments and other business matters Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management Invoice processing, payment management, record keeping, vendor communication and compliance Provide support to the management team with ad hoc financial requirements and administrative tasks Ensure systems have updated information Assist in the management of training profiles and competencies Ensure business compliance to meet legislation obligations Supporting ongoing changes within the business Pre-Requisites of the Role:
Significant demonstrated experience in financial administration and accounts payable within a complex and diverse organisations 5 years' experience in similar role Tertiary qualification in Business or Accounting (preferred) Strong bookkeeping skills, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable and reconciliation with advances MYOB experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Work, Excel, Outlook) Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers, suppliers and team members A team player who can work efficiently with excellent time management skills, self-motivated and reliable What we offer:
