M&A Associate - Global Investment Bank - Consumer Retail & Financial Sponsors Coverage

Job OverviewOur client has been notable in 2 key areas – exposure to high quality cross border M&A and financing transactions; and being able to attract and retain staff from leading banks & independents who are looking for good quality work but in a friendly, sustainable environment.Due to strong deal flow leading into 2025, our firm is looking to grow the team with a strong senior Analyst or junior Associate. The role will be reporting to a well-known and well-liked senior banker who is busy on a range of interesting transactions. The culture is one of ongoing support, common goals and people genuinely enjoying their work over the longer term.The role offers exposure to large multi-billion dollar M&A deals with complex capital structures whilst also giving staff access to smaller sponsor driven events across the market. This role will also interact closely with teams across the globe and will welcome offshore clients to Australia as part of their dynamic global coverage group.ResponsibilitiesLeading sector team across the APAC regionStrong cross-border capabilityQualificationsThis role will suit an experienced Senior Analyst from a competitor investment bank or an Associate from a strong independent advisory firm.
