As a leading retailer of luxury furniture in Australia, an opportunity has now become available for an experienced salesperson in our flagship Armadale showroom. James Said is expanding into a Lifestyle brand with the release luxury loungewear and fragrance, so we are seeking an applicant with fashion experience.
The successful candidate should understand how to nurture a customer from the initial sale all the way through to delivery ensuring repeat business.
The candidate for this position should have a dynamic and charismatic personality that easily makes customers feel welcome and looked after.
Luxury retail experience is preferred.
Duties include: Meet and greet clients and guide them through the unique shopping experience that we offerFollow up on all customer leads with the aim to build client relationships new/existing and exceed sales targetsUnderstand the process of closing a sale and meeting sales targets.Perform administrative duties including answering phones, providing quotes and data input to ensure service excellence is maintainedAd-hoc duties with the willingness to take on additional tasks that may become availableMaintain a high standard of showroom presentation that showcases our vast range of productsThe Successful Candidate: Must be happy to work at least one weekend dayImmaculate personal presentation Confident, have a flair for style and possess excellent interpersonal skillsExceptional communication skillsExpress a true passion for interior design and/or luxury retail brandsDemonstrated previous experience in a similar retail/ luxury sales roleOur friendly team are extremely passionate about the business and the products we sell, so the right candidate needs to be a good cultural fit and highly motivated to assist in the continual growth of the business.
