Discover the Opportunity An opportunity has arisen for a Lubrication Technician to join the Opal Rocklea plant reporting to the Engineering Manager. This is a Day Shift position based at our Rocklea site in Queensland. Shift commences at 6am to 2pm with additional 15min handover. The role does require some weekend overtime to be performed, and afternoon and night shifts may be required with reasonable notice given. Key Responsibilities: Lubrication of converting machines/lines during TPM and machine downtime. Hydraulic powerpack top-ups and filter changes. Inspect hydraulic systems, document, and change leaking hoses/fittings. Log cylinder and motor leaks. Review, update and maintain lubrication maps for each machine/line. Filter replacement on electrical cabinet AC units. Lubrication of Minda – Unitizers, scrap fans, and scrap conveyors. Check vibration of motors and bearings with handheld vibration tester and analyze the results. Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely in accordance with workplace health and safety policies and practices.
