You will perform routine maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles, including oil changes, fluid checks and fills, tire rotations, light bulb replacements, and inspections. This position requires some knowledge of the mechanical workings of different types of automobiles. Previous experience as a lube technician or automotive technician is desired. Please apply today!ResponsibilitiesDocument all service procedures performed and parts installed or replacedOil and lube the chassis's component parts, and measure the tread depth and tire pressureMaintain shop inventory by recording oil and parts usage and reordering supplies when neededMake sure all work areas and the shop floor are clean, and that all safety rules are observedOffer suggestions to consumers for additional services based on mileage and vehicle historyQualificationsExperience working on automobiles or as a lubricant technician of a year or more is preferredCustomer service skills are essential for this roleThis position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)Ability to operate vehicle lifts, tools, and other garage equipment safelyAbility to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds (or more) is requiredCompensation$22 hourlyAbout Cameron Park AutomotiveEstablished in 1989.
