High performing compensation lawyer team Full time permanent role Chatswood location - new office At Longton Compensation, being a trusted advisor and having the ability to solve our clients' problems with care, trust and deep expertise is core to our way of working. We are looking for lawyers with 3 years plus workers' compensation experience to join our fast growing team.
The Chatswood Compensation team delivers compensation services across the full spectrum of compensation law that includes workers compensation, motor vehicle accident, public liability and medical negligence claims.
Key Responsibilities: Handling cases independently under supervision Conducting client conferences and providing advice Requesting reviews and preparing matters for hearing Attending PIC telephone conferences and conciliations/arbitrations Maintaining high levels of communication with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders Training and supervising paralegals and legal assistants Assisting senior lawyers with case preparation Skills and Experience: Bachelor of Laws or equivalent and a current NSW practising certificate Minimum 3 years + post admission experience Exceptional research, analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to understand and manage the details to deliver commercially viable, accessible and legally sound solutions Demonstrated skills in influencing and persuading effectively always in the best interests of the client and organisation Proven planning and time management skills with the ability to manage workflow and priorities to meet deadlines Bi-lingual language skills highly regarded What We Offer: We will provide you with the opportunity to work with a talented team in a flexible and inclusive environment with a clear focus on high quality work with a committed mentor supporting your career development.
