Legal Counsel (3-5 PQE) – Front End Construction / Projects (Exclusive to Eaton)About the Company Our client is a large international company that operates in the engineering and construction industry. About the Position Our client is seeking a front-end construction or projects lawyer to work on major construction projects for their in-house legal team. In the role, you will report to a very experienced General Counsel who is friendly and a great mentor. You will work on projects that are rewarding with the knowledge you are making a real positive impact in the daily lives of millions of Australians. About You You are a front-end construction or projects lawyer with good commercial acumen and strong experience in drafting and reviewing a variety of construction contracts. You have great people relationship skills and can work in a fast-paced environment. Duties Review and negotiate Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts. Review and negotiate Design Build (DB) Contracts, Operation & Management (O&M) Contracts. Review and negotiate contracts for tenders, JV Agreements and key subcontracts. Advise on tenders and contracts for PPP's and Alliances. Review other commercial agreements. Manage external counsel and develop relationships with internal stakeholders. Qualifications3-5 years of post-admission experience gained working in-house or in a top-tier, international or mid-tier firm. Experience in front-end construction, infrastructure and / or major projects. Prior in-house or secondment experience is desirable but not required. J-18808-Ljbffr #J-18808-Ljbffr
