Job Description Analyze and develop logistics plans that enhance product workflow.
Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.
Strives to drive continuous improvement processes.Maintain the warehouse including neat and tidy organisation of stock, pallets and storage tubsEnsure the warehouse is maintained in accordance with all WHS requirements and communicate these requirements to on-site personnel to ensure complianceCo-ordinate warehouse maintenance activities including security, cleaning, recycling, rubbish collection and pest controlAct as nominated primary or secondary HSR / WHS site officer, perform workplace safety related tasks such as site inductions, inspections, fire extinguisher testing, first aid stock management, chemical registers, WHS noticeboard, maintaining a risk registerAct as a nominated fire warden and perform regular fire safety drillsEnsure monthly inspection checklists are completed by workers allocated to Motorola work vehiclesCoordinate asset movements in line with TasGRN requirements, other departments and various project activitiesConduct regular stock takes and maintain inventory levels, including identifying material shortages and triggering re-stocking processesPlace orders for new and replacement equipment and ancillary items as required and track orders through to deliveryDispatch and receive assets, materials for further processing and handling of inwards and outwards consignmentsPerform asset tagging including updating applicable databasesUpdate asset registers and keep relevant records in the applicable systemsEnsure depot partner subcontractors have sufficient spare equipment and materials to perform the required servicesIdentify faulty equipment and materials and determine the most suitable course of action to repairProgram and maintain subscriber terminals and accessories as per prescribed proceduresPerform regular battery maintenance activities including charging in line with required schedulesUpdate/produce processes and work instructions related to warehouse management and logistics as neededCo-ordinate and take part in workplace occupational training as requiredPerform all work according to applicable quality standardsPerform all work to according to procedures and instructionsAchieve timelines while maintaining high quality standardsMaintain conduct in accordance with Motorola's "CODE OF CONDUCT" and WHS policiesBasic RequirementsEssential: Inventory and warehouse experienceWorking knowledge of computer based software including Microsoft Word and ExcelForklift / 'Walkie Stacker' experienceDesirable: Previous experience with mobile voice and data communication equipment.Motorola product knowledge.Working knowledge of database software and Google productivity suite applications (docs, forms, sheets etc).Workplace Health & Safety Representative (HSR)Customer and supplier service skillsTravel RequirementsNoneRelocation ProvidedNonePosition TypeExperiencedReferral Payment PlanYesEEO StatementMotorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
