Reporting to and supported by the Logistics Director, the Logistics Operations & Inventory Controller plays a key role in driving our overall logistics strategy. This position offers the unique opportunity to collaborate across departments, working closely with both our Support Office and Operations teams to exceed performance goals and contribute to our company's vision. As a visible presence on the Distribution Centre (DC) floor, you'll engage with and motivate the warehouse team, ensuring smooth operations and optimal results. You'll be responsible for monitoring and maintaining all physical and systematic inventory locations, ensuring business requirements are met with precision.
The role involves regular analysis, operational reporting, and communication to maintain optimal inventory levels and drive efficiency. Your insights will directly contribute to meeting KPIs and improving business performance. This 12-month contract is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and is passionate about logistics excellence.
Requirements for Success

Drive excellence by planning, monitoring, and reporting to ensure top-tier service for our stores and customers across Australia and New Zealand.
Serve as the primary liaison for all logistics requests, bridging communication between the Support Office, Stores, and Fulfillment Centre.
Collaborate with the Global Inbound team to optimize inbound freight from the APAC DC, ensuring seamless delivery to local Fulfillment Centres and Stores.
Collaborate with all departments to understand inventory needs, track unit of measure changes, and provide regular stock level reports.
Monitor storage capacity, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and optimize storage across all locations.
Manage system stock transfers, scrapping, and coordinate physical inventory counts to ensure accurate alignment with Fulfillment Centre teams.
Monitor capacity projections, oversee all stock categories (including consignment), and track fulfillment processes to ensure timely cross-docking of Optical jobs.
Manage adhoc reporting and analysis requests from Operations group.

Communication with Internal Departments & Supply Chain Partners
Provide project direction and support in key supply chain projects to boost service, speed and cost efficiency across wholesale, retail and Ecommerce.
Skills & Experience

Previous relevant experience in a comparable role within Retail Supply Chain & Logistics or equivalent.
Exhibit key personal traits such as a solution-focused mindset, strong analytical skills, leadership, drive, self-motivation, and a commitment to excellence.
Alignment with our brands through a fun, energetic, and passionate approach, combining creativity and innovation with a results-driven focus.
Proficiency in using SAP, Advanced Excel, and PowerPoint.
Prior experience of import & export procedures & customs requirements.
Strong customer service skills with a proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
Demonstrated previous experience working in an analytical capacity, involving data collection, interpretation, and reporting.
