Job Description AC JV is currently recruiting a Logistics Manager to implement and deliver the overall logistics and warehousing strategy for a multibillion-dollar project to be constructed in the Central West region of NSW.
The project will include the construction of major electrical substations and transmission towers within an area encompassing 20 thousand square kilometers. Managing the logistics and warehousing of over a billion dollars of specialist equipment, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of the overall offshore and onshore logistics strategy.
Key Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive offshore and onshore logistics, warehousing, and transportation strategies to support the project's objectives.Evaluate self-perform versus subcontract delivery models to optimize project logistics, considering factors such as cost, delivery reliability, and delivery quality.Oversee international dispatching and domestic receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with project requirements.Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, order assembly, and dispatch of goods, maintaining clear communication with key stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors throughout the relocation process.Manage and implement oversize/over mass movements, securing permits for oversized and special loads while ensuring compliance with chain of responsibility regulations.Required Skills and Competencies Proven experience in a similar management role, preferably within the context of major project-based logistics.Strong understanding of logistics principles and methodologies, with the ability to develop and execute effective strategies.Excellent communication and engagement skills, capable of fostering collaboration and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders.Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service and meeting project objectives.Adaptability and willingness to embrace new skills and technologies in response to evolving project requirements and industry trends.ACCIONA offers a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
