About the Project: Jansz-Io field (part of Greater Gorgon Development) is located 130 kilometres off the west coast of Barrow Island, Western Australia.
The field is connected to a gas processing facility on Barrow Island by subsea and cross island pipelines and umbilicals.
The field is located in 1,350m water depth.
The Jansz-Io project offshore development consists of installation of a subsea compression facility powered by a high voltage submarine cable which runs from Barrow Island to a floating field control platform.
Medium voltage power umbilicals connect the floating control platform to a subsea compression station.
The subsea compression station receives produced gas from the existing Janz subsea system via subsea spools and a subsea compression manifold.
The compressed gas is discharged back into the existing pipeline for transfer to Barrow Island.
