This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Logistics Coordinator with a boutique commodity trader located in the Pymble area, accessible by vehicle and within walking distance of the local train station.
In the role you will be responsible for processing customer orders locally and internationally. The ideal applicant will have experience in food logistics working with retail clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:Communicate with customers & suppliers regarding shipments & deliveriesLiaise with customs agents/transport companies/warehouses regarding deliveries & releasesUpdate and maintain shipping filesArrange transport and storage of goodsEnsure suppliers have relevant information regarding import documentsPrepare and send out shipping advices to customersArrange receipt, de-consolidation, repacking, labelling and dispatch of samplesHandle AQIS/AGAL enquiriesSource new warehouse/transport service providers when requiredAdvise traders on transport and packing restrictionsRaise invoices for goods deliveredSet up & manage stock cardsReceive customer forecasts and manage stock & shipments accordinglyUndertake various accounting and commercial support tasksAttributes:Reliable, friendly, proactive and professional attitudeSome experience in logistics or tertiary educated in the fieldGood communication skills with an eye for detailsGood computer skills including word processing and excelStrong ability to multi-task, manage time and prioritiseSpanish as a first or second language is highly regardedWillingness to work as part of a team to support colleagues on an ad-hoc basisThe role would suit someone who is looking to work locally for a well established company who offer stability, excellent remuneration and a great team atmosphere.
