Continuing, full time appointment Professional Employee Level 5 - $72,061 – $83,249 pa Plus 17% superannuation and 6 weeks annual leave Waterfront Campus The Faculty of Arts and Society is seeking a diligent and proactive Logistics and Administration Officer to support the Innovation Team at Charles Darwin University.  About the Position
As the Logistics and Administrations Officer, you will support the Innovation Team in the running of intensive courses, short courses, and on-country study tour operations within the Faculty of Arts and Society. The position requires project management, logistics planning, IT, administrative, and financial support.
The role will work with the Innovations Team, external partners, and academics to support the programs, promote opportunities to deliver and increase high-quality products. There is the need to provide accurate and timely financial information and support to the Innovation Team to enable informed decision making to take place and contribute positively to ensure CDU's strategic priority initiatives are met. It is critical that University guidelines, standards and deadlines are strictly adhered to so that consistency of service is ensured across the University.
This position undertakes tasks under general broad direction; however, the successful candidate must be self-motivated to work within the team framework or independently as required. Excellent time management skills and the ability to deliver results are key aspects of this role.
About You
To be successful, you will require:
Organisational, logistics, and administration skills that can support courses and programs from the start of the activity to a successful conclusion.Analytical and numerical skills of a high standard including a demonstrated high level of digital literacy skills in the Microsoft Office Suite and particularly in Microsoft Excel to evaluate trends and maintain accurate records.Demonstrated understanding of financial systems including budgeting basics, invoicing, tracking and reporting of expenditure from commencement to conclusion of each activity.Demonstrated effective administration and organisational skills, with attention to detail, managing competing tasks and timeframes and maintaining confidentiality.The ability to effectively communicate new and current concepts to a range of internal and external audiences both verbally as well as in writing.Excellent oral communication and cross-cultural skills and demonstrated commitment to contributing to the highest quality of customer service particularly in engagement, negotiation and problem solving within a team environment.This position is subject to Charles Darwin University Affirmative Action Priority Recruitment measures, in accordance with s57 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1992 (NT) 1992. Appointment to this role will be at Professional Employee Level 5. The base salary will be in the range of $72,061 – $83,249 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $84,311 - $97,401 per annum, including 17% superannuation. What's in it for you?
