Role Description
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Logistics Administration Support person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate data in our systems and databases as well as booking transport jobs with Local and Interstate carriers. The Logistics Administration Support person will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our data management processes.
What are the Duties and Responsibilities? Inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate data in our databases and systems.Verifying data accuracy and completeness by comparing it to source documents.Sorting and organizing paperwork and documents for data entry.Entering data from paper documents, electronic files, and other sources into prescribed databases.Reviewing and correcting discrepancies in data entry.Generating reports and extracting data as needed.Booking transport jobs with both Local and Interstate carriers.Ensuring confidentiality and security of all data by following data handling procedures and protocols.Collaborating with team members and other departments to ensure data accuracy and completeness.Assisting with other administrative tasks as assigned. What type of candidate are we looking for? Experience with logistics software (WMS/TMS) and Microsoft Office Experience in fast paced warehouse environments Ability to work in a team environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)Experience with Dangerous Goods advantageous.
