We're looking for Log Grab Driver/Debarker Operator to join the team at Jubilee Sawmill in Mount Gambier, South Australia.
The role:
The position reports to the Greenmill Manager.
As a member of the Logyard team, your main responsibilities will be to carry out the duties of the Logyard efficiently and safely, using heavy plant and equipment, requiring multi skilling and job rotation when required.
Must be able to work effectively as a member of a self-contained crew and be flexible to cover shifts on short notice as required.
Hourly rate – Level 5 $29.54 once trained and assessed.
15% shift loading is additional on afternoon shift.
The Logyard works a rotating day and afternoon shift 5 x 8 hours per day, Monday – Friday and overtime as required.
You: have previous Log Grab/Debarker operation and/or heavy vehicle operation experience have a strong commitment to working safely, with the ability to follow procedures are a reliable and punctual employee with effective communication skills are willing to learn different functions across the crew are able to solve problems and have good judgment when making decisions demonstrate leadership qualities To apply:
