Central to the role as our Contracts Administrator is facilitating the process of our client's project through the pre-construction stage. This includes preparing the building contract, ensuring accuracy, and a seamless process for our clients, vendors, and suppliers.
Key duties
Write contract letters and other communication and notices including but not limited to build contracts, fencing notices, and council notices Attend meetings to assess progress on projects and take detailed notes to share with stakeholders Prior to sending for signing, thoroughly check contracts in conjunction with Sales Consultants and ensure they are accurate and represent client requirements Review and update existing contracts and generate variations accordingly Ensure all deadlines and conditions described in the contract are met (e.g., signed variations, finance approvals, and authority to commence) Maintain updated records, client files, and workflow spreadsheets ensuring documents are saved in the relevant files Ensure the upkeep and organisation of job file structure Liaison with Councils and other consultants such as Engineers & contractors Attend to in a timely manner, requirements, tasks, and all requests of the Workflow Manager Ensure all forms and approvals are in the file prior to commencement of the build Provide regular updates to clients on the progress of their job Email management and other general administrative tasks as required Requirements for the role
2 years + experience as a Contracts Administrator in Residential Construction is essential Strong understanding of residential building and the pre-construction process Qualification in a relevant field such as Construction Management or Business Administration is desirable Highly organised with the ability to multitask A passion and focus for delivering exceptional customer service Excellent negotiation skills High attention to detail Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Experience with construction management software & Microsoft Office To Apply:
