Locum Radiographer | 6 week contract | Regional VICStart Date: November 2024
Duration: 6 weeks with possibility for extension
Hours: up to 80 hours per fortnight (8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday)
On-Call: Shared on-call roster, 7 days per week from 5:00pm onwards, with 10-hour rest breaks.
We are offering an exciting locum opportunity for an experienced radiographer to join a public hospital for 6 weeks.
This role requires expertise in both X-ray and CT, with free accommodation and an allowance towards travel and flights provided.
Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality diagnostic medical imaging services, including X-ray and CT, for both inpatients and outpatients, handling a mix of scheduled and walk-in patients.Work effectively as part of a team, while also demonstrating the ability to work independently when needed.Participate in a shared on-call roster, ensuring urgent imaging services are available outside of regular hours, with appropriate rest breaks.Take full responsibility for the production and delivery of medical images, from accepting examination requests to ensuring images are ready for radiologist reporting.Minimum Requirements Degree in Medical Imaging or equivalent qualification.Current radiography license and registration with the relevant Australian health authority.Proven experience with X-ray and CT imaging.Ability to work both in a collaborative team environment and independently.Willingness to participate in on-call duties outside of standard working hours.Commitment to delivering patient care with compassion, respect, and professionalism.What's on Offer Competitive hourly salary.Free accommodation for the duration of the contract.A chance to work in a well-supported public hospital environment, contributing to a high-performing medical imaging team.If you're a qualified radiographer with X-ray and CT experience and are looking for a rewarding short-term role, apply now!
