Locum Pharmacist In Charge

6.5 hrs West of Brisbane. Mileage only no flights. Must be able to work min one month or longer to apply. Client & Location Information: Well established community pharmacy since 2016 located in a small town Western QLD, approximately 6.5hrs west of Brisbane, one hour drive from St. George or 4.5 hours to Toowoomba. It is located near schools, shops, a supermarket, bakery, butcher, local pub and dining, hardware store, clothing store, bank, and Australia Post.
Job Specification: As the sole pharmacist you will be responsible for all duties as required by a pharmacist - dispensing, ordering, counselling, checking/packing Websters. Low Script numbers: 30-40/day.
Dates: Monday 3rd February 2025 to Thursday 17th April 2025. Ideally seeking one locum for the full period but min one month is required to apply.
(Weekends and Public Holidays you are not required to work) Hours: 9am - 5pm (closes lunch 12.30 - 1.30pm) = 35 hours per week.
Experience: Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA) is essential. Experience with LOTS is an advantage but not mandatory. Experience in rural community pharmacy is an advantage but not mandatory.
Salary and Benefits: $70/hr + super (Contract role - paid by Client).
Extras: Travel and Accommodation. Mileage only: $0.99/km. Accommodation right next to the pharmacy 2-bedroom accommodation will be offered with heater/air conditioning, pets allowed.
