Position Overview: As a Local Area Engagement Consultant , you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing local marketing plans in collaboration with the Regional Manager and business unit leaders.
You will act as the face of InvoCare in the community, building and maintaining strong relationships with local businesses, community groups, and other stakeholders to enhance our brand presence and service delivery.
his is a hands on active role where you will be highly visible in the communities in your region while you promote the Invocare brand.
Key Responsibilities: Customer Experience & Engagement: Embed and demonstrate InvoCare values and behaviours, promoting a culture of excellence.
Represent InvoCare positively in the community, participating in local networks and promotions.
Drive a culture of exceptional customer service, ensuring our clients understand the value of our services.
Core Growth: Monitor and report on territory risks, opportunities, and competitor activity.
Develop strong business networks and relationships with key influencers and community groups.
Collaborate with the Regional Manager to create and implement strategic local area engagement plans.
New Growth & Innovation: Develop and implement sales plans targeting new market segments in collaboration with business units.
Operational Excellence: Ensure compliance with legal requirements and InvoCare policies.
Promote efficiency, quality customer service, and cost-effective resource management.
Essential Skills and Experience: High level of self-drive with the ability to follow structured work plans.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage across diverse demographics.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales or business development.
Proven experience in achieving financial performance targets within a team.
Strong ability to develop and maintain local business and community relationships.
Experience working with diverse geographical teams and the ability to travel as required.
Strong influencing and relationship-building skills with key stakeholders.
Desirable: Previous experience in the funeral/death industry or healthcare.
