We are seeking a highly skilled Loading Master to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a marine qualification, preferably a Master Class I, or a minimum Chief Officer Certificate of Competency.
Experience in loading and berthing LNG carriers is essential for this role.To be considered for this role you must reside within the Gladstone region or be willing to relocate.Position Overview:To supervise, control and manage the entire berthing & loading operation of the LNG carrier in an enthusiastic and professional manner according to procedures and policies, thereby ensuring complete safe and successful operation and total customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Safely and efficiently oversee the loading and berthing operations of LNG carriers.Plan and manage time and resources effectively to ensure smooth operations.Demonstrate a high degree of organizational skills to coordinate various tasks involved in the loading process.Ensure compliance with procedures, including ISO (9001-2008) systems, to maintain quality standards.Conduct operations with a professional manner and adhere to safety protocols at all times.Utilize proficiency in the OPTIMOOR program for mooring operations.Maintain a valid Australian Driving License and obtain/retain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).Possess sound knowledge of the Shipping Industry to navigate regulatory requirements and industry trends effectively.Qualifications and Skills:Marine qualification, preferably Master Class I, or minimum Chief Officer Certificate of Competency (Desirable).Proven experience in loading and berthing LNG carriers.Strong ability to plan, organize, and manage time efficiently.Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.Familiarity with ISO (9001-2008) systems and procedures.Professional demeanor with effective communication skills.Proficiency in OPTIMOOR program for mooring operations.Valid Australian Drivers License.Ability to obtain and maintain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).Sound knowledge of the Shipping Industry.Benefits:Generous remuneration package.Relocation support offered including accommodation for up to 4 weeks.If you believe you possess the skills and attributes listed above, please apply now by sending a copy of your updated CV.
