Excellent opportunity for an experienced Loader Operator to join a rapidly growing, global brand We are seeking a Loader Operator at our Round Wood Manufacturing & Treatment Plant facility in Takura, Hervey Bay.
About the role Ensure efficient unloading/loading of timber products/poles around the yard for processing, fabricating, treating & dispatchInspect product for degrading, re-treatment, quarantine and/or non conformanceEnsuring product processed is correct and meets customers requirementsComplete maintenance checks & loader maintenance inspectionsWork efficiently, ensuring minimum handling & movement of product whilst working safelyContribute to a healthy team environment Undertake the role with a strong awareness of the health & safety of yourself & others Perform other duties as required within your experience & competency What are we looking for Previous experience as a Loader Driver with current Loader/Forklift ticketExperience in production or manufacturing environment preferredAbility to work unsupervised & enjoy contributing to a productive team environmentStrong commitment to workplace safetyDemonstrated initiative and reliability with a strong work ethicPhysically fit with a satisfactory pre-employment medical screening What's on offer Opportunity to establish a long term career with a global brand Supportive team environment in a rapidly growing organisation with strong valuesStability and access to future rewards scheme Who are we Since its establishment over 55 years ago, Koppers Australia has expanded its product & service range to become a leading diversified manufacturer of quality carbon materials, chemicals & treated wood products across Australasia & the Pacific.
