We have multiple permanent opportunities for either Live Line Linesperson, Linesperson or Electrical Fitter Mechanic with distribution network experience located at Mackay.

Novated lease options for personal use.Overtime paid at double time.About your role: You'll be assisting with the construction, maintenance and repair of our LV and HV overhead powerline infrastructure including transformers and network switches.
As a Linesperson and/or Live Line Linesperson, you will:
Be trade qualified with a Queensland Electrical Licensing Board Certificate of Competency as an Electrical Linesperson, orBe trade qualified with a Queensland Live Line authorisation. (Remove if Linesperson only)Construct, maintain and repair overhead, high, and low voltage electrical distribution and sub-transmission systems, street lighting mains and customer service lines.Perform live line methodology on Energy Queensland (Ergon Energy and Energex) networks.As an Electrical Fitter Mechanic, you will:
Be trade qualified with a Queensland Electrical Fitter Mechanic licence.Install, repair, commission and maintain various items of electrical equipment and plant.Experience in line work and/or HV cable jointing preferred.The remuneration for your new role is from $108,859 per annum + 14.75% superannuation.
About you: Critical to your success in the role, is your:
Demonstrated knowledge of an electricity distribution/transmission system, including construction and maintenance of the electrical network.Working knowledge of Electricity Act & Regulations, Workplace Health & Safety Act and Regulations, and other relevant statutory acts & regulations.Availability for call out and emergency work.Willingness to travel to surrounding areas from time to time to undertake work.Current 'C' class open Drivers Licence.What matters most to us is our values, We're Safe – We Belong - We Grow - We Deliver.
