Connected People is seeking an experienced and driven legal professional for a Senior Associate role in Litigation within a leading, highly regarded firm.
This is a rare opportunity for those with a background in commercial litigation who are open to developing their skills in estates litigation, or for those with estates litigation experience looking to specialise further.
The position is available in either the Newcastle or Central Coast office.

Position Overview: As the Litigation Senior Associate, you will have the chance to focus on both estates and commercial litigation, with the support to transition fully into estates litigation if desired.
This role offers the flexibility to shape your specialisation and work alongside collaborative partners dedicated to your growth and success.

Key Responsibilities: Manage your own caseload, ensuring adherence to the firm's high standards.Provide expert advice on estates litigation, estate planning, and/or complex commercial disputes.Foster and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high satisfaction.Stay current with legal developments and communicate updates to the team.Drive improvements in service quality and operational efficiency.Ensure matters are resolved effectively and within time frames.Contribute to marketing efforts by creating content such as articles and blogs.Uphold the firm's professionalism and commitment to integrity.Selection Criteria: Minimum 4 years PAE in commercial or estates litigation.Demonstrated success in handling complex cases and converting inquiries into client engagements.Excellent communication, advocacy, and client management skills.Specialist accreditation in New South Wales is a plus (or willingness to obtain).Established professional reputation in either Commercial or Estates litigation.Proficiency in alternative dispute resolution.Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Commitment to expanding the Estates and/or Commercial Litigation department through networking and marketing.Familiarity with LEAP practice management software is advantageous.What We Offer: A supportive, social, and enjoyable work environment.Flexible working hours tailored to your needs.Partners committed to your professional growth.Competitive salary package.Choice of working from the Newcastle or Central Coast office, both offering convenient street parking.If you're a motivated legal professional ready to specialise in Estates or take on an Estates Litigation role within a thriving firm, we want to hear from you.
